pdw makes donations to bicycle transportation alliance and north west trail alliance

PORTLAND, OR- Portland Design Works (PDW) has announced they will be making donations of $1,000 each to the Bicycle Transportation Alliance (BTA) and the Northwest Trail Alliance (NWTA.)

The BTA is a non-profit membership organization working to promote bicycling and improve bicycling conditions in Oregon and SW Washington.

“Companies like PDW are great partners in our advocacy work because they recognize the benefit of putting more people on bikes and they're willing to put their money where their mouth is,” said Tom Rousclup of the BTA.

Northwest Trail Alliance is an all-volunteer, regional chapter of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) focused on stewarding trails and advocating for trail access across a wide radius around Portland.

“We decided to support Northwest Trail Alliance and IMBA after riding the new trails at Sandy Ridge this spring,” said Dan Powell of PDW. “The trail is awesome and we’re really impressed with the work the organization is doing to improve mountain bike opportunities in the region.”

PDW is a cycling accessory company based in Portland, Oregon. The company is a member of 1% For the Planet, a global group of over one thousand companies that donate 1% of their sales to nearly two thousand environmental and advocacy organizations.
