mike giant-cinelli

We've talked about Mike Giant here before, and we'll probably talk about him again. Love his work. I hold his drawings in pretty high esteem, up there with Eric Joyner, Shin Tanaka, Jesse Lalonde and Kevin Nierman. The greatest part of owning our own company is the potential to work with others who share a passion for design! Check out this great peice Giant did as part of a trade for a Cinelli Supercorse Pista:

always be my favorite

I got to talking to my little brother and an old friend this morning via the internets, and we agreed that Mega Man was one of the best games for Nintendo. Personally, Mega Man was my favorite. Not really a video game guy, but I liked the music, the graphics and the quest that Mega Man offered me as a 10 year old...wait, that was 20 years ago?
Crap, I'm getting old.

what does it all mean?

Hey, don't take things too seriously.

more on the dapper dan ergo grip

A couple of weeks back our friend Russ Roca wrote a short review of our Dapper Dan Ergo grips for his website. This morning we found a new review penned by Roca's partner, Laura Crawford, who installed the Dapper Dan's on her bike for what sounds like a really cool trip she just called "Dirt Mulholland." You can read more about that trip here.

Speaking of journeys (no, not that kind of Journey) Russ and Laura are purging their belongings for one of their own. You can follow along at the Path Less Pedaled.

money is more powerful than science

This is shameful.

jim b

My friend Michael stopped by last week and I noticed his front rack was no ordinary Blackburn. This was a straight up Jim Blackburn rack of old, before the "Jim" was dropped.

I like these 6 pack racks quite a bit. You don't see them around much any more and I wonder if it's because manufacturers are afraid someone will bungee a coat to it which might get caught up in the spokes and then, well, then you're looking around for your teeth.

where to find pdw near you

We've heard from you and we listened. Working with our distributors we've started to compile a list of brick and mortar bike stores where you can pick up PDW products. The list is still growing, so if your local/favorite shop isn't on here please give us a call or email, and we'll see if we can figure out how to get what you need in a shop near you. Slide over to our dealers page and check it out.

hello from down under

PDW got an email late in the day yesterday from MC Cycles down in Sydney, Australia. Justin wanted to let us know if folks are looking for our stuff in Sydney they should stop by the shop, or check out their blog. Justin, it's our pleasure. Thanks for selling our line!

word is spreading about this dapper dan fellow

We found out early today that the Dapper Dan Ergo Grips were picked as the Gear Of The Day over at Bicycling Magazine's website. Needless to say, that is pretty big news and we are pretty excited! Thanks for giving us some love, Bicycliing!
