hot, hot, hot

We've been over 100 degrees in Portland the last few days...it is pretty crazy. Word on the street a huge high pressure system is parked over the Pacific Northwest. That system is keeping the cooled air that typically cycles through the region out to sea. Couple this with the fact it has been a pretty dry summer, and the area is getting pretty brown and crunchy. Needless to say, we don't have AC here at PDW corporate HQ, so we are finding any way we can to stay cool. On my way home tonight from Veloshop, I'm thinking about taking a slight detour through McCall waterfront park to ride right through the fountain...
